Shop-A-Thon Thursday

Welcome back to another week of Shop-A-Thon Thursday.  I am always so excited to bring you the new manufacturers and retailers that make their products here in the US.

This week I added a link to the American Red Cross.  If you can, please consider donating time, talent or treasure to help in the relief efforts for the Hurricane Sandy survivors.  Remember basic math: If you can give $1, that's good.  If 1,000 people thought that way, they would have another $1,000.  That's 1,000 drops in the bucket = a bucket half full, instead of half empty.  Also, don't forget time can be considered a small prayer for them before meal time or whenever you get a moment

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas:

       1.  Disaster Relief
       2.  Supporting America's Military Families
       3.  Lifesaving Blood
       4.  Health and Safety Services (Ie: courses in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard training)
