Who Joined The Made in America Bandwagon?
Since tomorrow is President's Day, I thought it only fitting to share that the Price of Freedom, a gift shop in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, adopted a new attitude almost two years ago. Their products now display the words Made in the USA on them. What a great example of patriotism! The Price of Freedom: Americans at War is also the name of an exhibit at the museum. Here is a list of other exhibits.
If you happen to find yourself in Washington, D.C. or within driving distance, here is the Smithsonian's Plan Your Visit page. It would make a great field trip for the kids - big and small.
What do you have planned for Presidents' Day?

We're visiting friends who will be here from out of state. You're right though, The Smithsonian is amazing, especially if you have children. I really like to visit DC, especially w/the kids. There's just always something really great to do.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosey,
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your friends have a great visit with each other. I haven't been to the Smithsonian, but it's on my list of places to go. It's great the things that I learn from doing this blog. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your comments. It's always great to have you back.

I didn't realize they had don that. What great idea!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteIt says a lot when The Smithsonian adopts the idea to support local products and jobs. Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts.
