The Most Ironic Resolution....EVER!

New Year's Resolutions give us a chance to improve upon something we feel needs a little tweaking.  With another baby expanding our family count, I decided that I wanted to organize, rearrange and repurpose some things.  I made a detailed list of what I wanted to do in each room.  Even minor details went on the list, such as one room's new color.  I knew if I waited until the baby was born to make this list, the list would never get made, nevermind the tasks to be accomplished on them.

THE IRONY: I lost the list!  YES - the list that was supposed to help me become more organized.  Back to the drawing board.

This past Sunday I woke up and made my [decaf] coffee, as I usually do.  I cleaned out the coffee pot and went to make my husband's [caffeinated] coffee.  As soon as I finished pouring the water in the top part, I notice that it all began leaking out of the bottom of the coffee pot.

A Quick Funny

Since yesterday I posted on a really sad story, today I thought I would balance that out with a quick funny story.

This coming week begins the rush of holiday travel.  Blessed am I to have been able to have flown on a number of flights and different airlines.  On one particular flight just as we landed and are making our way to the gate, the flight attendant comes on the intercom.  She tells us all of the usual stuff - Please remain seated until the plane has come to a complete stop and the captain has turned off the seat belt sign; Be careful opening the overhead bins so you don't get hit in the head, etc., etc., etc.  She thanks us for flying Southwest Airlines and closes her spiel by saying, We at Southwest Airlines would like you to know that no one loves you and your money more than Southwest Airlines.  Have a great day!  The passengers roared with laughter and clapped.  It was probably one of the funniest things I had ever heard on a flight.  It was great.  Closing the flight with a funny line must be a Southwest Airlines thing because I have heard them on several flights of theirs.
