HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year!  How exciting!  It's like a new chapter begins - the clock gets restarted.  With a new year comes the hope of a being a better person.  We all make resolutions to do something different that will improve our lives.  Isn't that hope exciting?  What kinds of resolutions have you made?  Save more money?  Lose some weight?  Go to church more often?  Exercise?  Quit smoking?  Grow your blog?

Resolutions make us face things that we normally put off during the year.  We take inventory of our lives and resolve to do better.  Every New Year reminds me of my brother-in-law's passing.  Here's the question for you: If you knew this would be your last year on earth, what would your year look like?  What would you differently or the same?  Let's spend this month taking a good look at our lives and truly making those resolutions worthy of the lives we've been given.

What Will 2012 Mean to You?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  I hope that you all had a wonderful beginning to 2012.  What are your resolutions for 2012?  What would you like this year to mean to you?

For some reason, this year has had me thinking......reflecting.  I am not one who usually makes resolutions.  I'm not sure why that is.  I always admire those who do make them and even keep up with them.  Life changes take a certain degree of discipline and my hat goes off to those of you who are still disciplined to be changing your lives on day 5 of this year.  I will keep you in my prayers and will continue to cheer for you.  Since it takes 21 days to create a new habit, you have 16 days to go until your resolution becomes a bit easier.

My reflections on this year make my head race.  I want so much out of this coming year that the only place I know where to begin is by saying, "Thank you."  I am honored to be a wife and mother.  I am humbled that you have taken time out of your day to stop by and read this blog.  I pray that I can bring you exciting posts that keep you coming back.  I am excited to write about the wonderful products that are Made in the USA.  I thank you for choosing to check those labels and for purchasing the one from the USA.

In writing this blog, my point is not to promote buying stuff.  My point is to have you purchase items Made in the USA to help create a job for someone who does not have one now or needs a full-time job or even a better one.  We buy things all the time - some necessary, some not so much.  The one that's Made in the USA could be made by someone in your very own neighborhood.  When you put a face to it, it does make a difference.

Be safe and be happy.  Hug your loved ones!
