{Decor Made in the USA} |
We moved last week. A better description would be that we are not living in limbo anymore. For the last 90 days we lived in a studio apartment so the family could be together. We relocated for my husband's job and last week we finally found a home.
When I look around this new place, all I think about is gratitude. This seems to be the beginning of another exciting journey and the end of challenges that we overcame. This home also represents a different challenge - decorating. You see, this home is larger than anything that we have lived in in a very long time. The girls are so happy because it is so much bigger than the studio we were in. They have room to move around in and play. I love it because they can spread out, but it looks very bare, like a house wanting to be a home.
I went on Pinterest to find some inspiration and created some new boards to come back to. I know the home will come together. The picture above keeps sticking out in my mind. I love the message that it says - Always Kiss Me Goodnight. My husband and I celebrate our 10-year anniversary this year and it just reminds me of the best part of the end of my day. The decor is overwhelming me, but spiritually, I feel like we are in a much better place.
What does your better place feel like?

My better place is vibrant, rich, yet laidback and funky. LOL I promise to send a pic when I achieve it. Here from the weekend showcase and congratulations on the new home. BB2U
