Do You Want To Get Involved?

I know when I was a kid, I was encouraged to get involved, make a difference.  We were told to leave the world a little better than how you found it.  This theory extends from something as simple as saying, "Please," and "Thank you," to voting and donating money to charities.

Writing this blog has taught me that the same principles apply here.  Something as simple as buying a product labeled Made in the USA can create jobs.  As simple as that seems, it does have a profound impact, mimicking a domino effect.  Other times, situations (and the personalities that accompany them) call for involvement, voices to vocalize the the general need for change.  For those of you who have an activist in you, here is a link to numerous associations related to manufacturing.  Here is another link related to the textile industry.

Just as we will be exercising our right to vote in just under two weeks, so too, should we lend our voices to raising awareness and, therefore, change to bringing back the pride that is Made in the USA.
